So sentimental dolls

Here are the dolls I made from this sentimental fabric.

(theres the gloves as sleeves!)

And half a doily as another sleeve.

The largest brooch is now a hat.

Phew!

So nerve wracking doing this sometimes.

But great to know that these girls are going to be given

as special Christmas presents to family members.x

I'm finding that decision making is increasingly down to

My Creative Space

I keep thinking I'm starting to get my creative space under control.

Then I realize what else there is to make ... now/soon/aargh!

The problem is not being able to say 'no' very easily.

There's nothing like pressure to get rid of procrastination though.

(all these petals are from one blanket!)

And are able to say 'no' - I think I'll have more confidence to say it from now on!

Busy

I've been busy with custom orders,
Pirate costumes, shop orders and making for a market this weekend,
I eventually started making 'stand up' make up pouches again (top pic).
I had offered my mother the choice of one - before a market once,
and she turned her nose up at them (why was I so surprised and hurt by that!?)
I think that might have put me off for a while! You've got to trust you're own instincts and make what you feel like sometimes!


So anyway, I'm looking forward to being at The Mummy Tree Market  in Brisbane

Its all about the dolls here again -
a shop order for some pigtailed (or ponytailed) ladies.
I've nearly finished another two too!!
