Op Shop Finds

A bag of gorgeous buttons for 50 cents? Yes please!

Two big pieces of this gorgeous scene.

A few old LP's.

A huge machine embroidered table cloth.

This delicious looking wool rug that is going to be even softer after a hot wash.

But my main find this week, was this little plate.
I'd seen it quite a while ago in the oppy glass cabinet, but it was out of my price range.
This week though, it had been marked down and then it was half price as well!
Meant to be, me thinks!x

That fabric is from the late '70s. I know because I bought some then to replace the hideous sixties fabric in my mother's rental bathroom. Now I wish I had the sixties fabric because it really was gorgeous. Only not back then. I always did love that sunny fabric though and used scraps of it in my first patchwork with a sun square in the middle and descending sky to earth squares scattered on either side. Cherrie

Oh my gosh. What finds. I am missing op shopping. I finally have a list of some HK oppies, I new need to check them out, it could be interesting.

So many buttons for 50c, what a bargain! And that plate is stunning. Plus the fabric pieces with the ladybugs on, I am drooling. I cant wait to see what you make with that!
