My Creative Space

Last night i finished this doll of the logo for a new T-shirt company. I thought I would end up having to use felt for the red feathers, but managed to sew in some real ones in the end. I drew the face free hand, so its not exact. The body has been left plain, for them to add to it.

This is a girl that I didn't get finished in time for the Auckland Art Gallery Fair. I've applied the hair in a slightly different way again.

(some fabric from etsy!)

And an update on this one, Miss E has taken the fur coat off her sheep (Miss Olive), and thinks it suits her doll waaay better! (her sheep is looking a little cold now though - wish I could sew clothes!)

I won't be spending too long infront of the computer today, as I have an eye infection. Got some funny looks at kindy this morning - with my wrist strapped up and a swollen eye!!

I love the late gallery doll. She looks so spunky in her boots and wrap. Gorgeous space, as usual.
