I've been doing a bit of hand-sewing-on-of-hair this week. Mainly on this doll, to get a different effect. Her eyes seem to have popped right out, since sewing her all together! (as usual - the big decision is whether to put earrings on her. Red vintage buttons?)
We've also made Miss E's belated birthday cake. A chocolate orange mousse cake. Decorated in doily fashion of course!
And I've also started on some more cushions for
Including this one using an outfit from 1977. Any guesses who this foot belongs to??

I love the doily cake! Your cushions are looking gorgeous, you always use such beautiful fabrics.
I thought the cake was a piece of fabric before I read the words to it!
ooowwww lovely! You have been busy .... and that cake looks yummy!!!
I like her without earings :) Loving the doily pattern cake decoration and those gorgeous embroidered bits too! I'm thinking Star Wars if it's Lucas Films but I can't make out the shape at all I'm afraid! ;) Have fun crafting Jennie. Kx
yum, doily cake! and is that a little piece of R2?
Definitely go the red vintage button earrings!! I think she looks very funky but could use a bit more bling bling :)
I've always loved dolls, I'll have to have a look through your posts see if I can spot any red heads:)
Oh she'd love some vintage earrings...who wouldn't!! Her eyes are gorgeous...as is her hair. Beautiful as always. Hope you have a wonderful weekend :)

Need any help with the eating of that cake??? Looks delicious!. I think your doll should definitely have some red bling about her ears. Peta
The cake looks divine and R2D2? Good luck with all the sewing for the fair. x
I will be looking out for that one at the fair - there is a lot of Star Wars in our house!
I could not tell it was a foot, but the Lucas 77 says Skywalker to me!
