Free Motion Sewn Doll

This is all done with free motion sewing - or thread drawing.
The dress and scarf are made from a vintage napkin.
Now that she's all sewn up, theres bits I'm not happy with -
mainly with the eyes. But as her face was sewn on the machine, theres not much I can do about it now!
(she could do with a bit of lippy tho...)x

I think it's gorgeous. You have great free motion technique. If I tried this it would look like a 3 year old drawing! I love your work

I love her, she is stunning. I had a go a free-motion sewing once, but it's waaaaay harder than it looks!

I know this is will a small consolation. But Jennie, I absolutely LOVE her, she is my favourite of your dolls, and no I'm not just saying that.
i'm so sorry you're not happy with her ( though can't see why) I know how yuck that feels.
but i truly love her xoxo

Wow, she's pretty amazing if you ask me. So much detail. I keep wanting to give thread sketching a go and then I never get around to it.

I really don't know how you do it. My first & last attempt at free motion sewing was an unmitigated disaster!

I loooooooooooove the socks!

She's gorgeous! I always struggle with stitch length when free motion sewing, but yours looks totally spot on.

Oh my! You did that free motion on the machine! I bow down to you! She is gorgeous

I tried free motion for the first time today on a lap quilt, I can't imagine doing it on a doll, well I can... I'd imagine it would be tricky!
