Dolls for Haiti

The lovely Sarah Hanson (Brit in the US) is organising a new doll drive for Free The Kids in Haiti. The goal is to get 132 dolls made for the children of Hope Village. But any more than that, will be donated to other orphanages too.
They need mainly boy dolls, using dark fabric for the skin tone.
If you are interested in making some dolls for this extremely worthy cause, there are tutorials and tips at Dolly Donations.
The dolls will leave the US for Haiti on November 1st. You can get more details and where to send them to here. This is a way to help, where you know that what you are doing is actually going to make a difference!

Oh thanks for sharing. I would love to make a doll. Although my skills aren't too great in that department. I still haven't "fixed" the one I made for my daughter.
