Anyone who has sewn/cut long faux fur before will know what
I go through to make these koala's. It gets everywhere when you are
making them! But they wouldn't be the same without the fluffy ears!
The face is done with free motion sewing. I find these quite
difficult, as you can't really draw it out first (on the wool rug)
to position the eyes in the right place. It does make sure that they
are all one of a kind though!x

I've never cut into faux fur myself, but my daughter has just made a teddy bear for sewing at school...and lets just say that I know why the teacher got them to cut it out at home! What a mess! Aqua coloured fur everywhere!
