Back Soon...

So we are moving to Australia, as the Mr has accepted a job there! When we have settled in a bit and I've plugged my sewing machine in again, I will be back on here. Maybe there'll be some new inspiration, living in a totally different place again. Its the right move for us, the next step. You've got to go where the opportunities are and make the most of things now!

If you are interested in seeing what we are up to - I've started a private blog (which sounds like a bit of a contradiction!). You'll need to let me know if you want to be able to log into that. Can't promise it'll be that interesting. Its probably going to be more of a record of things, for the children (and us) to look back on.

But I'll be back on my A Little Vintage blog as soon as I start making a few things again!

Because of our move, I am not able to put any dolls up for the Handmade Charity auctions for the Queensland Disaster Relief.  So I've sent off a bundle of dolls and softies to Steph for Hope Softies. They  will go directly to the children in the shelters, who have lost their homes and belongings. If you can make even one toy, please email Steph to get the address to send them to.

Good luck with the move Jennie! I'm quietly thrilled you'll be on the same continent ... though I know everyone in New Zealand will miss you.

I'd be chuffed to join your private blog (makeminemidcentury@gmail.com) but if you get too many joiners (limited to 100), you can drop me off!

Aren't you gorgeous sending off some dolls for Hope Softies.
I'm so excited you're moving to Australia!! Even though we won't be in the same state, you'll still be that bit closer. I hope you like it here, and it offers you some new creative ideas.
Can't wait to have you back on line. Missing you and your gorgeous girls.
I would love to be able to log into the private blog, as long as you want me to read it. totally up to you my dear.
