Hiccup

(doll for a friend far away)

We have one. A 'life hiccup' I mean. DP was notified a few days ago that he and all his collegues are being made redundant. I know alot of this has been happening recently but he really thought his job was safe. It has come as a complete shock.

(finished twins)

So again, we are having to look further afield for opportunities to exist. As its not looking good here at the mo. We are keeping our minds very open.

(PS. i didn't mean to relate the dolls drinking with the hiccup business - sorry)

I really hope something great turns up very soon, it must be a worrying time, especially as you didn't see it coming!...your dolls are all perfect, I love their little capes & the dress on the last one is very sweet...

The old adage is quite often true - when one door shuts, another opens ... Thinking of you

Oh that's terrible. I lost my job this year but as not being the main income provider it hasn't been too bad, so I really feel for you at this time. I thought my job was safe forever too, never can tell in this economic climate can you. Maybe it just means that it's time to move on? That's how I have tried to think of it anyway!

Oh what a bummer for you guys. Fingers crossed that something turns up that is suitable. Thinking of you.

My partner lost his job last year when the company shut down and then I lost mine just over a month ago. Hopefully you will find, as we did, that it just pushes you from you comfort zone to new and better opportunities.
The dolls are lovely.
